About the Business
At American Enterprise Tax Professionals, we actually enjoy preparing your taxes! Whether you are highly organized or keep your financial records in a shoebox, we can provide you with an accurate, timely return that adheres to the latest tax codes, stands up to scrutiny and is prepared according to the highest ethical standards.
So you’re not interested in attending the latest IRS seminar? We are! Our knowledge and training sets us apart. We offer over 40 years of combined tax prep experience, and participate in more continuing professional education than required to make sure we are providing our clients with the most thorough, up-to-date information.
You don’t have to be a perfect taxpayer to call us - we can help in most situations and we are available throughout the year for questions and consultations. Our preparers are members of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and National Tax Practice Institute fellows, which means we are federally licensed tax practitioners, experts in our field, and empowered to represent you before all levels of the IRS for audits, including collections and appeals.
The most important thing we offer our clients is peace of mind. If you need reassurance that your return is complete, accurate and filed on time, call us. Make April just another month.

About the NAEA and the NTPI
The National Association of Enrolled Agents is the professional society that represents tax practitioners licensed by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on issues including collection, audits and appeals. Enrolled Agents (EAs) are tested by the IRS on their knowledge of tax law and regulations and, because they are federally-licensed, may represent clients in any part of the country. They provide tax preparation, representation, tax planning and other financial services to both individuals and business taxpayers. EAs adhere to a code of ethics and professional conduct and are required by the IRS to complete annual continuing professional education. They are governed by Treasury Circular 230 in their practice before the IRS.
The National Tax Practice Institute teaches enrolled agents and other Circular 230 practitioners how to represent their clients through expertise in the tax code as well as knowledge of the system and how it works. Should representation be necessary, enrolled agents must provide clients with the best defense possible. This requires continual education and review and a network of expert colleagues who are willing to offer advice and assistance as needed. NAEA developed NTPI to prepare licensed representatives to protect their clients’ rights, build relationships among top practitioners, and increase knowledge of IRS laws and procedures critical to representation.
